Interactive Thermodynamics Description

Interactive Thermodynamics is a software package that allows the user to solve thermodynamic systems. The software package includes an equation solver and also has thermodynamic property data retrieval. A single solution to the system can be obtained or the user can vary input or output parameters to observe the effects. The equation solver can then output the data in graphical formats. Interactive Thermodynamics also includes predetermined, real-world scenarios and computer-assessable property data for many common substances including water; Refrigerants 12, 22, 134a; ammonia; and many ideal gases and air-water vapor mixtures.

Interactive Thermodynamics Usage

Interactive Thermodynamics is accessible on Windows-based computers in the Elder and Hering labs in SC. Go to Start | All Programs | Engineering Software | Interactive Thermodynamics to launch the program.
