Setup

Open the Intel PROSet Client window and click the Configure button in the Available Networks section.

In the resulting Configure Wireless Settings: General Settings window, enter the Profile Name (name is your choice). The Wireless Network Name (SSID) must be engr-wireless. Click Next>>.

In the Wireless Profile Properties: Security Settings window, shown at right:intel security setup

- Select WPA-Enterprise in the Network Authentication list.
- Select TKIP for Data Encryption.
- Check the Enable 802.1x box.
- Select TTLS for Authentication Type.
- Make sure that PAP for Authentication Protocol is selected
- Select Use the following for User Credentials.
- Enter your Engineering User Name, then Engineering Password twice.
- If you want to use your Hawk ID, then enter your Hawk ID User Name
and Hawk ID Password twice and then enter IOWA as the Domain.
- Enter anonymous@myabc.com in the Roaming Identity field.
- Click Next>>.

On the TTLS Server step 2 section, select Thawte Server CA from the Certificate Issuer drop down menu.

Click OK to connect to the wireless network.

After the "Connecting to engr-wireless" popup window appears, enter your engineering user name and password (you do not need to include the domain) and click OK. You are now connected to the engr-wireless network.
