 David Blanco New Officer

David Blanco has been elected to serve as the captain of the 2009-2010 University of Iowa steel bridge team.

The Steel Bridge building Competition challenges engineering students to an inter-collegiate competition that includes design fabrication, and construction. Participating students gain practical experience in structural design, fabrication processes, construction planning, organization and teamwork ASCE is looking for students to help in every aspect of the competition from design, computer modeling, to fabrication and welding. Meeting dates will be posted on the website shortly as well as announced in general assembly meeting. If there are any questions please email asce@engineering.uiowa.edu.
